Mixed race people, how do change the subject when people ask "...but where are you from, originally?"?

I understand you not feeling comfortable being asked about your heritage. I have been asked that question a million times. However, you can always ask that same person, "What are they"? Because we are all something. Be proud of your heritage. If someone asks and you don't feel comfortable and then just be honest, and kindly say you don't feel comfortable discussing it. Also do not feel pressured by others to pick one race. If you are multiracial, then proudly proclaim it!
