I got error on my computer it has automatic mute on my 'wave' and un-full screen itself on wmp 11?

I have Windows Xp sp2, scan for all virus,trojans,spyware etc. Never had it before only recently and i don't know how to fix it. I tried repairing my Xp (not reformat) and reinstalling the programs any suggestions?
