What should I do to get him back?

My ex left me almost 3 mths. ago-we were having a lot of problems towards the end but, I never stopped loving him & wishing he would come back. A mth. after we split he started to see a married woman but, rumor has it that things are not going great with that. I know I'm probably being a fool but, after being together for 4 yrs. I feel I have the right to want to work things out. I know that he still loves me but, will not come out & admit it. I know also, that he knows he did me wrong & feels he doesn't have the right to expect me to forgive him. He calls me for stupid reasons & is still paying for my car insur. but, will not come out & talk to me about our relationship & what happened to us so whenever I speak to him we just dance around things & this just tears at my heart. I keep reading that I should not be the one to call him or give into him by telling him how much I love him & want him back. I know he knows that I still love him.
