In King of Queens, what is this movie reference?

In season 4 episode No Retreat, Arthur wakes up in Doug and Carrie's bed with soup broth on his hand (probably originally blood) and opening up the covers to find the soup spilled. He then yells out. I am uming it is a movie reference because I have seem the same gag on a couple of other shows.
