If vampires were real how would you deal?

In the popular image vampires are evil monsters to be exterminated, or y, mysterious beings that drift through our ordinary lives like ghosts. If they were real beings though, would you be one of the crowd with the torches and pitchforks, ready to hunt them down, or would you seek them out in curiosity? With society's fascination for serial killers, cannibals, and other blood-thirsty deviants, I have the feeling more than a few would be drawn to the dark side...
