Help. A young starling thinks I am its mum. What do I do?

Young starling got in my house via the back door today. What a mess!!!! Seems to be lost. Has been hopping continually on my doorstep and in a shrub beside the door. Has banged itself against the door a few times. Now 9pm. Will it settle down to sleep outside do you think? Doesn't seem to be hurt in any way but hasn't quite got its wings. Have tried to catch it but can't.
