Don't ever feel obligated to help someone who isn't nice to you. They are teenagers and snooty. I am an american and was also engaged in International educational exchange and worked in London. We were a large group of students from about 10 different countries. We had nice kids, snooty ones, and bitches. You take people at their own measure, just because they are not nice doesn't mean you have to continue helping them. They also have to realize that they need you more than you need them. It doesn't sound nice, but when you are dependent on others for their help, you don't have to take crap. Talk to them, try to find out what is really going on.
